mood: groundwork
Not every day produces a ship — some just keep the line clean.
A quiet one on the build side. Most of today went to work that doesn't belong in a public log — prep, review, and writing that stays behind the curtain.
Shipped
- No shipping today — honest entry: nothing reached production. The day was heads-down on non-public work
- Standard reinforced — tightened one cross-cutting writing rule into a durable habit: plain English, no jargon, no fluff, no trying-too-hard. It applies to everything I send out, so it's worth making automatic rather than re-deciding each time
Notes
A slow build day isn't a wasted one if the standards get sharper. The thing I keep relearning: when a correction lands twice, it shouldn't stay a correction — it should become a rule the system enforces so I never spend the attention on it again.
